Learn to Swim

We teach children to SWIM and BE SAFE around the water. Our instructors provide quality lessons that teach skills from floating to a full lap of butterfly. 

Session Dates & Registration 2024-25​

Class Schedule:

  • Monday & Wednesday Classes
    • 5:30 - 6:00p (30 minutes)
    • 5:30 - 6:15p (45 minutes, advanced levels only)
    • 6:10 - 6:40p (30 minutes)
    • 6:15 - 7:00p (45 minutes, advanced levels only)
    • 6:50 - 7:20p (30 minutes)​
  • Tuesday & Thursday Classes
    • 5:30 - 6:00p (30 minutes)
    • 5:30 - 6:15p (45 minutes, advanced levels only)
    • 6:10 - 6:40p (30 minutes)
    • 6:15 - 7:00p (45 minutes, advanced levels only)
  • Individual Class Duration: Levels 1-4 = 30 minutes, Levels 5-6 = 45 minutes
  • Average Student / Instructor Ratio: 4:1
  • Cost: $130.00
    • Rates for sessions which are scheduled to last less than 12 classes will be prorated
  • Ages: 4+ years

How to Register:  At this time, our program is near capacity, so every new registrant will sign up for the waitlist.  Everyone will be contacted before the start of the session to find the appropriate placement for your child's level and classtime.  If we don't have an opening that works for your child, you can remain on the waitlist for higher priority placement in the following session.  To keep our waitlist manageable, we only open registration for a window of time (ususally a week) before the start of each session. Dates for open registration are listed above.  During open periods, the Registration Link will be found by going to our home page and scrolling down to the green box that says "Learn to Swim Registration & Information." 

Canceled Classes: We make every effort to offer all classes in each session. In the event a class is canceled, make-up classes will not be scheduled.  You will be issued a credit if we have to cancel a lesson.  

Prorated Dues: If you join the session late, we will prorate your dues by providing you a credit for the amount of the missed classes which can be applied to your next session. In the event that a credit is issued, NSC will honor the credit for 36 months. We will make our best effort to communicate with families with credit balances via email.
